Verdict

Royal Peculiar was a decent third on his reappearance at Lingfield and has plenty of scope. Albert Bridge is lightly-raced and only 4lb higher than when successful at Newbury last year while Samsons Son won at Windsor and Goodwood last season and can't be ruled out. But the top weight has a bit to find to overturn Newbury running in August with ROCKFELLA, who also won on his reappearance last year. Denis Coakley's six-year-old is still on a decent mark and gets a tentative vote here as Storm Hawk runs his best races on Fibresand and Hawridge Star has been off the track for a while. Enfant De Lune is fit from a campaign over hurdles, however, and may stay on into a place.
