Neither Hats Off nor Fletcher Christian made much of an impression on their respective debuts and newcomer Mrs Brown's Boy makes little appeal on breeding. However Jimmy Elder makes his racecourse debut for last year's winning yard and has an entry in one of the summer's valuable sales races but STRONG CONVICTION is the speculative choice. He's a half-brother to the smart sprinter Rileyskeepingfaith and Mick Channon's Piccolo colt may be up to winning at the first time of asking.
