Verdict

BAREFOOT LADY landed the Nell Gywn on last year's reappearance and her third in the Coronation Stakes behind Immortal Verse was a terrific effort. Despite failing to win again last season, a chance is taken she's somewhere near her best on her return and Richard Fahey's filly is just preferred to this year's Nell Gwyn heroine Esentepe. The latter should go close again here ahead of the improving Neutrafa and Raasekha, but Winter's Night could prove more of a problem if fully primed for her return as she finished a decent third in Listed company at Ascot when last seen at the track in July.
