Verdict

A tight race with all eight runners rated within 3lb of each other. Dark Falcon and SKY CROSSING beat the same rival on different occasions to win their respective maidens at Southwell in December and the latter will have come on for his recent return at Kempton. He gets the token vote ahead of the filly Lollina Paulina who improved with every start last year culminating with a win on the Polytrack. Fairway To Heaven went backwards after a making a winning debut at Kempton and Fortrose Academy failed to figure in nurseries after scoring at the same track in November.
