Verdict

A decent contest in which several arrive in decent form. Emperor's Choice is chasing a hat-trick after wins at Southwell and Fakenham but is now upped in class, while Chepstow winner Holywell may have a few pounds too much on his handicap debut. Ski Sunday and Decoy have a touch of class but neither has shown much lately and Jubail may be better on a quicker surface, though was far from disgraced when sixth at Aintree and his Newcastle victory has worked out well. LAMPS is game and consistent and certainly wasn't stopping when third over this trip at Ffos Las in March. The ground is in his favour and he can get the better of chaser Get It On, C&D winner On The Right Path and Kempton third Andhaar to land this.
