Verdict

UPTHEMSTEPS is on a roll and goes well on soft ground. He needs to improve again to defy his penalty but may be capable of doing so and gets the vote ahead of Overyou, successful at Kelso last month, and Timetoring who won a similar contest over 2m5f at Ffos Las 12 days ago but is 13lb higher now. Round The Horn is jumping fences late in life and was pulled up when the selection was second at Chepstow last month but will handle the going and could easily bounce back over a more suitable distance.
