Verdict

VEDANI is by Dalakhani out of a superbly-bred unraced mare and has an entry in the Derby. This isn't an easy maiden by any means but if he's to justify a tall reputation then this should be his day. Calgacus looks best of those with experience as he was doing his best work at the finish on his reappearance at Leopardstown and will have come on nicely for the run. King's Warrant was only caught in the final stages when a very good third on his return here when Moldowney was just behind while Sinetta, in the same ownership as the selection, produced a fair effort over the C&D last month.
