Verdict

CITIUS looks the safest option in this having finished third on his racecourse debut at Bath last month. Richard Hannon's colt will have benefited for that experience and makes more appeal than Ceiling Kitty, who ran much better over C&D on her first start than she did at Beverley last time. Jubilee Brig and Rioja Day are both related to winners but fellow newcomer Composed also has a winning half-sister and makes more appeal as Paul Cole won this race with the useful Shampagne back in 2008.
