Verdict

This appears to be wide-open although a couple stand out on closer inspection. Nine Realms was unfancied for his debut over 7f at Newmarket last month but ran really well when runner-up to the cosy winner Cogito. He's looks sure to figure but IHTIFAL is preferred given her debut second behind Dank came over C&D and she finished well clear of the rest of the field. Qaadira was well beaten on her return and Paul Hanagan prefers the owners Mawasem, who was beaten nine lengths in the Wood Ditton on his debut, a couple of places behind Straight Shot who finished seventh. Alvitude, Maistro and Whispering Warrior are ones to note on their seasonal returns.
