Verdict

This looks a bit more competitive than the first division as few can be left out of calculations. Highland Colori were second and third behind Rafaaf over course and distance on soft going two weeks ago and are closely matched today. Both must go on the short-list while Macdillon and Picabo are worth noting on their seasonal reappearance. But we'll take a chance that MIDNIGHT FEAST's comeback run at Brighton has sufficiently blown away the cobwebs for him to land this as he ran well in a couple of starts over course and distance last summer. Night Trade won on the Polytrack over the winter but she has her fair share of weight back on turf after a short break.
