Verdict

Ghostwing reserves his best for Southwell nowadays but Black Baccara can't be ignored turned out again only three days after finishing third in similar company at Wolverhampton. This is Bilko Pak's level but he has shown nothing in two starts since returning from a break while Le King Beau and AYE AYE DIGBY have an absence to overcome. The latter did win on his only previous start on Polytrack, however, and has generally competed at a higher level than this. It may be worth taking a risk on the seven-year-old's state of readiness as Diamond Vine has been a bit below par on turf lately and has a bit to find at the weights here.
