Verdict

Colm Murphy looks to have a very nice recruit to hurdling in THE WESTENER BOY, an easy winner of a point-to-point in December before landing a Fairyhouse bumper by no less than 20 lengths. He could prove an exciting prospect and should have too much class for Forty Foot Tom, who has been going well in handicaps and looks the best of those with experience. Civena has shown a little promise but it's difficult to get excited about the remainder.
