Verdict

A very low grade handicap and just the type of race where the market should be watched carefully. BLUE VIC is only 3lb higher than when scoring at Down Royal in August and, though he has plenty of weight, this won't take much winning and he's handed the vote. Breeze With Ease is actually 1lb lower than for his only success so far at Wexford last year and though running poorly it would be no surprise to see him bounce back. Pink Goddess would have a chance on her second at Downpatrick in March and she didn't run badly in a slightly better race there next time, though finished behind Special Raffle that day when the latter produced easily her best run over timber. Theonewiththeleg would be the selection if getting a run from her reserve spot after a fine run at Ballinrobe on Tuesday.
