Verdict

BACK TO BALLOO has been making steady progress and ran a fine race when runner-up to Simon Gray at Fairyhouse a month ago. The third has won subsequently so the form should prove strong enough for him to gain his first victory. Law Rebel is another improver who makes his hurdling debut after landing a Killarney bumper on fast ground in August. He'll enjoy the conditions and should make a decent hurdler but Regal Warrior has become disappointing and Solo Whisper may prefer softer ground. Johannisberger made a very promising debut in a Punchestown bumper last May and is surely better than he showed on his reappearance at Cork last month.
