Verdict

A very low-grade handicap with nothing entering the fray in any kind of form but something has to win and it might as well be ATLAS PEAK as at least he's hasn't been running too badly at Dundalk this winter and has run quite well off a higher mark than this over timber. Happy New Year ran easily his best race so far over hurdles at Thurles last time but that was on very testing ground and he'll find things different here. Sobrando Lodge has shown nothing in maidens so what he's doing with top weight is anyone's guess and though Flemross has won a couple of times over fences and is on a much lower mark over timber it's because his form has been so poor. Ruby Walsh's presence on board Kennysprincess will obviously attract attention but Tony Martin's mare has been beaten a distance in all four starts over hurdles so far.
