Verdict

Count Brando is the only one of these with experience but it's difficult to evaluate his easy victory between the flags at Oldcastle with a race of this nature. His pedigree is all about chasing and on this occasion he may find MELLIFONT ABBEY has too much pace for him. Jessica Harrington's charge is a full-brother to the high-class 1m4f winner Phoenix Reach and a half-brother to several winners on the level so should have the basic speed for bumpers. Our Native Land is another who should do much better when eventually sent chasing.
