Premier Steps took a little while to find her stride on debut at Newbury but kept on nicely in the closing stages and wasn't beaten far. She'll know more today and makes more appeal than Someone's Darling, a little disappointing when favourite at Ripon after a promising run at Musselburgh. EQUITANIA cost £65,000 as a yearling and is a half-sister to six winners including speedy juveniles Johnny Jumpup and Lenjawi Pride. She can make a winning debut as she is likely to have more pace than fellow newcomers Clock Opera and Symboline.
