Verdict

Goodwood Atlantis beat last month's Windsor runner-up Presburg and Wolverhampton third Beau Duke at Salisbury in August and is the type to do well at three. But, like Halling Dancer and Now My Sun, he lacks a recent run which could be a problem on today's going. Warfare wasn't disgraced on soft ground at Haydock after winning at Wolverhampton and is one for the short-list but the handicapper hasn't over-reacted to FENNELL BAY's recent win at Southwell and Mark Johnston's colt is unlikely to be fazed by the switch back to turf. He can score again with bottom weight Tight Lipped preferred to Bountiful Girl of the others.
