Verdict

Unusual to see Godolphin and Cheveley Park-owned runners on the Fibresand with the Turf season in full swing and LASCAUX looks likely to carry the latter owner's colours to victory here. John Gosden's filly went very close to scoring at the first time of asking in heavy ground at Sandown when second to Morant Bay and she can go one better here. Saeed Bin Suroor's 200,000gns filly Tajriba also made a promising debut when runner-up over a mile at Kempton in November and she'll figure if taking to the surface, but Lady Kashaan and Beaux Yeux will do well to trouble the principals.
