Verdict

A case can be made for quite a few but EQUITY CARD gets the nod. A gradually progressive juvenile last term for Godolphin, he has moved to Mark Johnston for the current campaign and ran better than placings suggest when unplaced behind Apothecary at Wolverhampton first time up for the Middleham team. He'll appreciate dropping back a furlong and looks on a feasible handicap mark. Dutch Master looks a strong contender, showing up well in a competitive Windsor handicap on reappearance and is sure to improve for that, especially with his yard now in much better form after a slow start to the season. The Noble Ord should also come on for a solid first run of the season, whilst Justin Newman's claim brings Loyal Master into the equation if ready to roll first time up.
