Verdict

It was fast ground when Topadee won at Tipperary but he's run well on good going and Joseph O'Brien is an intriguing booking. McTaggart had a couple of runs over hurdles before a decent effort behind Bankroll at Limerick though he's still a maiden as surprisingly is Landsdowne, who finished in front of him in that latter event but has paid for it with another rise in the weights. Another maiden, Invincible Don, produced the best run of his career on this track last month but that was over 1m1f and this looks too short. PACKSAPUNCH was once a very decent handicapper and got up to a mark of 83. He ran poorly for most of last year which is why he's now down to 58 and, as he ran much better at Gowran last time, he can turn back the clock and take this.
