Verdict

Some interesting sorts go to post with CHESTER ARISTOCRAT taken to maintain his steadily progressive curve. The Alston charge has improved with each outing and was beaten less than a length when stepping into handicap company at Haydock last time. He still needs to learn to settle better and a good gallop will assist his claims here on ground he handles well. Brockwell has fair maiden figures to his name and the Dascombe team found some form last week. He looks of interest on his handicap bow, whilst Eastern Destiny from the Fahey yard looked useful when landing her Thirsk maiden last August although her subsequent absence is a slight concern. The more exposed Priestley's Reward is a solid sort and rates a place on the shortlist.
