Verdict

ZOMERLUST may have reached the veteran stage but he still knows where the winning post is with three wins under his belt in the past ten months, all in claiming or selling grade. He remains effective on all ground types and scored quite cosily here last time over a furlong further, but is equally adept at this sprint trip. He looks the safest option. Mango Music is a major danger on the formbook though, especially receiving weight from the selection. Consistent without winning last term, she may just need this first run of the campaign after an absence dating back to last August. Qubuh and Ursula were first and third in a Hamilton claimer this month but the winner isn't the easiest to catch right and positions could be reversed on these revised terms.
