Verdict

ARGANIL is clear of the field on official ratings and can take advantage. Below par at Doncaster last time, Kevin Ryan's charge won a handicap at Redcar on last month's reappearance and a repeat effort would make him the one to beat in this. Lesley's Choice beat runner-up Red Cape and fourth-placed Steelcut over C&D a fortnight ago and scored with enough in hand to suggest he can confirm superiority here though the latter is weighted to reverse earlier running with Mother Jones. Porthgwidden Beach makes no appeal on today's terms.
