Verdict

The Cecil yard has had a strangely erratic start to the season in many ways but EMILIO LARGO ran an excellent race on reappearance when fifth in the Newbury Spring Cup behind Captain Bertie, travelling well throughout before tiring into fifth late on. That was his first run since rattling up a hat-trick last summer and he should be spot-on now. Dimension was a much-improved performer last term and top weight will be no hindrance if he's ready for this first run of the campaign whilst Godolphin fire a double salvo with Double Dealer, a good second at Kempton first time back, preferred to Roayh.
