Verdict

Delgany Gunner beat Brimham Boy, who was scheduled to run at Hereford yesterday, by more than three lengths at Uttoxeter but may struggle off a 7lb higher mark here. GEE DEE NEN would have claims on his best form and has his sights lowered a little today. He is the tentative selection though Gunship is capable when in the mood, while Owner Occupier won off a higher mark at Sandown last year but has been largely disappointing since. Ballyman can go well fresh and may be the pick of the remainder ahead of Hereford second Jolibob, who is 5lb wrong in the weights.
