Verdict

Emma Jean usually tries her best but just doesn't look good enough off her current mark and Outlaw Torn's best recent effort came on the Fibresand at Southwell. PURLEY QUEEN is not the most consistent but her best form of last year, notably a fourth at Kempton, is good enough to land this and a chance is taken she's in the mood today. Pendle Lady has failed to reproduce the form of her run at Pontefract last summer when winning a 6f maiden but Men Don't Cry should be capable of better this year and makes his handicap debut today.
