Verdict

Toptempo is undoubtedly the form pick on her two runs last season. She wasn't beaten far behind Lyric Of Light on her debut here then ran well in a Listed event at Pontefract. Her dam was a Group 3 winner and she should do well this season but there are some unexposed fillies here including ZENAAT and she gets the nod. A daughter of Galileo out of a useful middle-distance mare, she will have benefited from the experience gained at Kempton in August and is the type her trainer does so well with. Require made a decent start behind Inchina at Newbury and there's more to come from her, a remark that also applies to Openly who caught the eye on her debut at Doncaster where she stayed on nicely over the mile. The Oaks entry Pink Damsel, another daughter of Galileo, is out of a Grade 1 winner in the USA and cost 600,000 guineas as a yearling.
