Verdict

Garde Cotiere hasn't been seen since slamming a field of novices in October 2010 but that's rarely a problem for one from this yard and he could be on a decent mark. Norse Blues has been raised 5lb for landing the Spring Mile at Doncaster on his reappearance which appears fair enough and he must go on the short-list while Boogie Shoes won a tough handicap over the C&D in September and should make further progress this campaign. Arabian Star won the consolation Cambridgeshire here on his final start but all four of his victories to date have come on very fast ground, unlike Mawaakef who ploughed through the mud to score at Yarmouth. REACHFORTHEBUCKS finished runner-up to Qaraaba at Doncaster so a big run from the winner earlier will be a boost. He needs a fast-run race over a mile which he didn't get at Kempton last time and can get back to winning ways.
