Verdict

Alba King was readily brushed aside by Hi Dancer over C&D last time but the soft ground may have been partly to blame for his failed hat-trick bid and a better effort is expected today though, on a line through the winner, he probably has a bit to find with Wetherby runner-up Tinseltown. Sydney Cove is only 3lb higher than when beaten a head over C&D earlier this month but Smokey Thatch and Ravi River could have too much weight and Letterpress needs to improve on his latest C&D third to figure. DESTINY BLUE was well behind Sydney Cove here recently but hated the soft ground and wasn't unduly punished once his chance had gone. Successful three times on quicker going on the Flat, he remains potentially well treated over hurdles and is worth another chance.
