Verdict

BRONZE BEAU had to race off much higher marks for the remainder of the season having won this contest last year. He's dropped back to a more realistic mark now and Linda Stubbs' charge is fancied to repeat. Select Committee finished three lengths behind the selection in last year's event but arrives on the back of a close-up second at Beverley and should be thereabouts though Nomoreblondes is harder to fancy off a 6lb higher mark having won by a short-head over C&D last time. The latter's stablemate Irish Boy is preferred on his return to action and Lost In Paris is no forlorn hope.
