Verdict

Dennis The Legend won this 12 months ago and is 4lb lower now. He's probably needed his two runs this year but may struggle to concede 19lb to CECILY PARSLEY. Hughie Morrison's mare is 3lb out of the handicap and 8lb higher than her last win but she's very much on an upward curve and has already won twice over these fences. Ballyvoneen is penalised for his Plumpton win but may still be best of the rest as Appleaday hasn't won for more than three years and starting to get a little long in the tooth. Sentimentaljourney makes his chasing debut and has scope but is probably best watched on this occasion.
