Verdict

This may develop into a match between Crowning Jewel and WITNESS IN COURT, with preference just for the latter in receipt of 6lb. He got outpaced in a bumper on his debut under Rules at Hexham but will relish this big step up in trip having already won over 3m between the flags. The Reveley gelding, on the other hand, still has his stamina to prove having been found wanting in handicap company over C&D last time. L'Eminence Grise is probably best of the rest but has had plenty of chances and is another not guaranteed to get home.
