Verdict

It's rare to see a classic won in such comprehensive fashion as HOMECOMING QUEEN's demolition job in the 1000 Guineas at Newmarket and it's impossible to oppose her in this much smaller field as she will lead them a merry dance. The form has already been franked by The Fugue so La Collina, who could never get in a blow at headquarters but stayed on strongly into fifth, looks the main threat. Yellow Rosebud is a very nice filly who should win some good races and already has a Group 3 to her credit looks booked for a place while the Ballydoyle second string After was less than 2l behind Homecoming Queen at Leopardstown earlier.
