Verdict

Favourites have won six of the last 10 runnings of this Listed contest so likely market leader Fallen For You has to go on the short-list. She had last week's Irish 1000 Guineas heroine Samitar back in third when runner-up in last year's May Hill at Doncaster and won over a mile at Kempton on her reappearance, though appeared to get outpaced over this trip at Lingfield subsequently. Balty Boys has only managed one win so far but stuck to his task after making much of the running at Newmarket last month and preferred to Justineo, whose second over this trip at Goodwood in September hasn't worked out. PRODUCER has a bit to find on the book but took a real shine to this track as a juvenile with all three of his victories coming over this C&D. He'll strip fitter for his third in the Fielden Stakes at Newmarket and is worth an interest back here.
