Verdict

The three-year-olds get plenty of weight from their elders over these longer trips at this time of the year but none of them fill us with confidence. Wreaths Of Empire has been well beaten on four starts so far this season and Dine Out's only placed effort came over 5f. Five-year-old Mighty Clarets was still beaten six lengths over a mile here when runner-up last time and the tentative vote goes to IULUS, who will have come on for his reappearance and whose maiden win at Carlisle last summer is good enough form to land this.
