Verdict

A decent enough renewal for one of Redcar's annual highlights. Luca Cumani landed this with Forte Dei Marmi in 2010 and DANADANA looks to house a similarly progressive profile. The Dubawi colt has only had the seven career starts, should improve again and faced similar conditions when landing what looked a massively competitive Newmarket handicap last time in taking fashion. He may well prove to be better than a handicapper in time. Robemaker looks interesting off this mark for the Gosden team and has looked in need of his two previous outings, especially when getting bogged down at Chester when last seen. It would be folly to discount Con Artist despite topweight and an absence of over eight months. The Godolphin charge remains both lightly-raced and dangerous.
