Verdict

Dark Passion made a very good impression when returning to action in a strong race at the Curragh and though conceding weight all round he looks certain to be in the shake-up. Stablemate Mount Meru looked in need of the run on his comeback at Dundalk and looks a threat to all but CRIMSON SUNRISE will prove difficult to beat. Dermot Weld's filly, twice a winner in her juvenile campaign, reappeared at Limerick in March and showed that she had trained on with a good third behind Precious Dream and looks ready to regain the winning thread. Khaos and Heavy Weight look to have a bit to find though there's probably more to come from the latter.
