Verdict

The consistent MON CHEVALIER makes most appeal. He's won twice this year already and a close-up second at Stratford last week suggest he can win off today's mark especially as he's reunited with winning partner Michael Nolan. Ormus was still in contention when falling at the last at Sedgefield on his return from a lengthy lay-off. If fully recovered, he looks sure to be in the firing-line while Red Kingdom has been in better form of late though stablemate Endeavor makes more appeal after a decent effort on his chasing bow at Kelso.
