Verdict

Landaman has twice made all at Beverley for facile victories but will find it difficult to shake off these better rivals after a big weight rise. Troopingthecolour has run two tremendous races this season but is now on his highest mark as a consequence while the consistent Little Rocky loves the trip and will enjoy any cut in the ground. Shavansky had dropped to a very fair mark when runner-up at Kempton and is lower than when scoring at Chepstow last July. TRADE COMMISSIONER has had his problems which is why he's only run twice but he looked a potential pattern race performer when landing a strong maiden at Sandown last month and begins in handicaps on a relatively comfortable mark. He's taken to land this under Ryan Moore.

Sandbanks Sizzler (IRE) 5-1 (9-4) Slowly into stride, soon in mid-division but off the pace, weakened over 3f out, last of 11, 23l behind Ramona Chase (8-12) at Windsor 1m 4f hcp 0-95 (3) gd in May.

Romeo Montague 10-1 (8-10) Reluctant to go to post, held up in rear, some headway when hampered on rails inside final 2f, weakened soon after, 8th of 9, 11l behind Life And Soul (8-8) at Goodwood 1m 4f hcp 0-105 (2) gd in May.

Shavansky 8-1 (9-5) Slowly into stride, towards rear, good headway on inside over 2f out, chased leaders over 1f out, stayed on inside final furlong went 2nd last strides, 2nd of 14, nk behind Sinfonico (9-3) at Kempton 1m hcp 0-85 (4) pol in May.

Little Rocky 9-2 (9-1) Chased leaders, ridden over 2f out, kept on same pace, 3rd of 12, 4l behind War Poet (9-0) at Doncaster 1m 2f hcp 0-95 (3) sft in Apr.

Trade Commissioner (IRE) 15-8 (9-12) Took keen hold, tracked leader early, soon settled tracking leaders, went 2nd travelling well 2f out, quickened to lead under hand riding inside final furlong, comfortably, won at Sandown 1m 2f 3yo & 4yo mdn (5) gd in May beating Mawaqeet (8-12) by 1/2l, 12 ran.
