Verdict

MARTIAL LAW was a long way clear when falling at the last over today's trip at Ffos Las a month ago and may have been feeling the effects when beaten at odds-on at Towcester five days later. This looks a perfect opportunity for losses to be recovered. Pearls Legend had shown some promise in bumpers and made a fair debut over timber over the minimum trip here last month. Winning point-to-pointer and bumper Bens Moor hasn't been seen since a poor run at Chepstow in 2010 when something must have gone amiss and he's one to keep an eye on for the future. Buyers Premium showed potential in bumpers and will be better for her debut over hurdles at Warwick.
