Verdict

HAY POINT, a daughter of Authorized and from the same family as the top-class Mamool, did nothing wrong when third on her debut over 1m2f at the Curragh and will appreciate this step up in trip more than most. She should be another winner for John Oxx though Foinse, another filly, will also stay middle-distances this year and can be forgiven her run at Dundalk in February. Nashville, Warwick Avenue and Wexford runner-up Zabana have all shown signs of ability but may have trouble seeing out this trip on breeding and Dante's Inferno's future probably lies in handicaps.
