Verdict

BOLD THADY QUILL won this a year ago and is just 2lb higher despite returning to form at Naas. He looks well enough handicapped to follow his win of a year ago and Shane Foley gets on very well with him. Potomac has had very little experience which may just count against him but he ran well on heavy going at Leopardstown last time and is progressing fast enough to give a good account. Northern Rocked has been racing at a higher level since completing a double in April last year and will appreciate being dropped in grade and in the ratings. He looks a big threat as does the former Barry Hills-trained Gunner Lindley, who is just 2lb higher than when gaining his last success in a big field on soft ground at York in October 2010.
