Verdict

It's impossible to get away from the claims of FIRETHORN, who produced a fine debut run when beaten narrowly into third by Coin Of Courage at Navan last month. He's by Dalakhani so the slightly longer trip will be in his favour and normal improvement should see him home. Jumbo Prado hasn't been beaten far in any of his three starts and though he's been looking a bit one paced while it would be no surprise to see a big effort from Edith Cowan, a daughter of Galileo out of a Listed winner who didn't look suited when racing on Polytrack in December and is likely to do much better. Captain May didn't run badly here last time but looks up against it conceding weight to the younger brigade.
