Verdict

A strange race with almost half the field out of the handicap due to the presence of the German 1000 Guineas winner ELECTRELANE, who looks a cut above these rivals. Ralph Beckett's filly had signalled her credentials with a fine run behind Laugh Out Loud in a Listed contest at York earlier and is progressing so quickly that it's a surprise to see her running in a handicap. Falls Of Lora won over the C&D in September and a Group 3 at Meydan in February so she looks a threat in receipt of 5lb while Aidan O'Brien quickly returns Devotion to a mile after a reasonable effort behind stablemate Was in the Oaks. Duntle won a Dundalk maiden by 18l before just failing to last home in a Group 3 at Leopardstown while Esentepe found the extended 1m2f of the Musidora too far and this is more like her trip.
