Verdict

CHEROKEE STAR clearly doesn't mind some give in the ground and made all at Uttoxeter earlier this month. He was raised 5lb for that success but that's not excessive and Dai Williams' charge can follow up here. Stop The Show won over hurdles at Towcester last month off today's mark and has won twice over fences while Heezagrey wasn't beaten far off a higher mark over C&D 10 days ago and should go close again. Papradon returns from a break, however, and struggles to get his head in front while Monty's Revenge appears to have two ways of running and would prefer a sounder surface. The others have a bit to prove at present.
