Verdict

Lord Ofthe Shadows' best form would give him a chance and he makes most appeal of his yard's five runners despite Richard Hughes presence on Democretes. He beat Leqqaa at Newmarket last October but the latter's stablemate Switzerland has claims having finished ahead of the re-opposing Frog Hollow when third at Haydock last time while Prince Alzain is another of those drawn high who could figure. As for the low draws, Fast Or Free is making rapid progress and Ryan Moore stays loyal having steered him to victory at Newmarket last time while stable companion Kahruman is yet another to consider after his fourth in Listed company at Sandown. Van Ellis could also figure back on good ground but Frankie Dettori picks up the ride on Irish raider PIRI WANGO, whose close-up fourth at Dundalk last month to yesterday's Jersey Stakes heroine Ishvana now looks even better form and Ger Lyons' charge is taken to come out best today.
