Verdict

This is a slightly better race than the one Maria Montez won at Folkestone and she's 4lb higher now. Speedy Yaki has won twice at Wolverhampton but looks to have too much weight here while Impel is proving disappointing. Poseidon Grey could improve for the fitting of blinkers, however, and Amphora has shown enough to suggest she can get involved and has been dropped a further 2lb since finishing fifth at Newbury. SCHOOL FEES has been placed in all six starts to date and had excuses on the Polytrack at Kempton last time. She deserves a change of luck and, as she seems best when there is give in the ground, can end her frustrating sequence today with a win.
