Verdict

Winter Alchemy could easily play a part on his chasing debut as he is rated 5lb higher over hurdles, though he returns from a lengthy absence. Ifonlyalfie has only found one too good here and at Fakenham while Silent Snow was second over 3m at Uttoxeter last time. BALLYBANKS was second over fences at Newcastle and Southwell prior to a decent run over hurdles at Perth. He's already proved his stamina in the point-to-point field and can get off the mark under Rules today with Tribal Dance, Foot The Bill and Middlebrook all disappointing last time.
