Verdict

Star Deal still looks a bit headstrong having tried to make all over a mile at Ripon last time. He'll need to settle better to last home over this longer trip while a couple of other contenders drop back in distance. Venegazzu gets first-time headgear after his second over 1m4f at Newcastle and ADESTE finished fifth to the highly-regarded Pink Damsel over the same trip at Newmarket last month. Noel Quilan's filly will find this easier and gets the nod. Airmyles showed a bit more when third over C&D last time and makes most appeal of the remainder.
